NOS on a metropolitan scooter?? wtf?

Im still perplexed by this. Saw it at lunch today.- I was pulling up to the light just as he was pulling away turning left.

2lb blue bottle on the rear rack. Stainless steel hose ( I hope it just goes to nowhere)...

I will have to track this guy down - its a college town and I bet I will see it again. I so wanted to ask him if it was legit. I guess its good for pulling wheelies.

PS, I think these things are 50cc

The other day I saw a guy with a bandana, dark shades, tattoos, chain wallet, shit kicker boots - looked like he should be riding a custom chopper. And he was cruising on a scooter. All bad-ass credibility was immediately lost.

lol. I've talked with my biker buddies about all getting scooters and having a bad-ass scooter gang. I think it'd be a hoot.

There used to be a group of kids around here that would all ride the really early scooters - just motor hanging out. They all had the pipes and sounded like a swam of bees when they passed.

Now this is cool - I wonder if his name is fred?

I bought a honda ruckus back in 05.. It was almost impossible to get parts for it though..
Kinda wish I didn't sell it...
