IMO the police shooting him is correct. He could of hurt others especially in a damaged car which can have bad control. If he wouldnt stop after all this.. I doubt shooting his tires out would stop him either. He would just cause more property damage if he continued. If he is dead that equals less problems for the PD and gives trigger happy cops a chance to shoot at something outside the range hah. After all, they almost never use those things.

Shoot tires?
Have you ever shot a gun before? Do you know how hard it is to shoot tires on a moving vehicle let alone farther than 30 feet away? Risk other peoples lives? Innocent people? Because some 20 year old kid is having fun in his EVO and going on a street rampage that could cost someone elses life? The only mercy I have for someone like that is. They shoulda shot him 7 times so he woulda ended faster. RIP

Damn here is the link from the Evo Forums. According to Sam, the guy who sold him the car, the guys dad worked for Mitsubishi Corp. They even show his picture and stuff.
http://www.socalevo.net/index.php?op...&topic=90367.0 Anyways sad story but I'm glad I sold my Evo, Cops love to pick on them and with this happening, they now become an even bigger target for cops. |
