Those steering wheel & gear shifter controls..need advice

Guys you know how some companies sell those steering wheels and shit knobs for xbox and ps3 for racing games? Where can I buy those? Which one is the best one?

And is it worth it for a racing game or should I stick to a regular controller?

And finally Forza or GT5?

Arguably better than the logitech g25. It works for the Xbox, PC, and PS3. No other wheel works on all 3. I use it for Forza 3 and it works great. Have yet to try it with GT5 prologue.

I like that brand, they have GT3 RS edition but it only works for PC and PS3. I want that to work on the xbox!! How do I do it? Will they build a custom one for me?

Theirs a vid on youtube of some guy converting one of those GT3 RS editions steering wheels to work on eh xbox but I dont wanna mess with wires and shits.

I picked one up with my Logitech Driving Force GT wheel and it makes all the difference in the world.

Fanatec.com has a setup like that, its a stand thats hold everything for you. Its like a 100$

They have a clubsport edition of the 911 turbo S wheel that basically swaps the plastic pedals with the metal ones (if that's the main reason you are looking at the GT3 RS).

I'm also using their wheel stand: http://www.fanatec.de/html/index.php?id=220&lang=en

It work fairly well. I just wish it was weighted a bit on the end furthest away from the you.

The weight of the wheel and pole coming up from the ground makes it slightly top heavy. If you aren't careful it's pretty easy to knock it down. Not really an issue when you are actually using it as your feet are resting on the pedal base which is acting as a weight.

You can get them from Amazon, though not sure they are alcantara. I wanted to get that seat, but reviews say it's not the most sturdy setup. I'd hate for the seat/metal to flex while playing.

What do you mean flex? And I heard these were the top seat setups etc?

Also, it is real alcantara, theirs reviews and videos of it
