There's no story mode, perse. You do a championship race every 2-3 weeks, and inbetween you race different groupings (Class F downhill, Mustang Days, V8 Trackdays, etc). You can also hop in any car at any time and go race any of the events the vehicle qualifies for. If your vehicle doesn't qualify for a race you want, upgrade/downgrade it to fit. All parts you purchase can be taken on/off interchageably.

You have a driver skill level and a vehicle level. Vehicles level out at 5, and you get discounts on parts at each point. My driving level is at 32 or something currently, and you often are rewarded with a free car at each level.

I don't know if there's a limit. I have like 27 + vehicles in my garage right now. I couldn't live without my '92 Civic hatch, S14 Sylvia, E30 BMW, BMW X5, Saleen F-150, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Fiat 500, Shelby Mustang 500, Ferrari F430 Scuderia, Lamborghini Reventon... truly more rides than I get to drive. lol

On the in-game calendar. I've yet to try the online play since my roomy has the Xbox Live account and his cars are wack. We'll just say I'd never let him customize one of my vehicles.

You can paint any part of the car any color you'd like. You can even add your own vinyls to make flags, etc. Customization is truly incredible in this game.

Personally I probably like the GT3 better. The RS is much more of a racecar and sticks to the road like glue, but I tend to think the slower cars are more fun (not that the GT3 is slow, just a little easier to control). I guess I must not have the 997.5 in my garage yet.

They don't offer any 997.2s. The only facelifted p-car in the game is the Boxster S.

Infinite cars. The story mode is just an event list that gets arranged in seasons, dependent upon what events your selected car qualifies for (<500bhp, A-Class, Only V10s, AWD, German, etc).

lol, now it's funny because Toyota officially dumped that design. They modeled it all out for the game and it will now be left as a concept-only.

It's probably going to be released around fall or Christmas time.

Think about it... if they release it right before Christmas, I guarantee everyone is going to buy the game. Sony will make a fortune by doing this. They're not going to spend $60M developing a game and then call it quits.
