Err.. I don't know why some of you are so thrilled about them going to jail.
America has some of the highest incarceration rates per capita worldwide. So why should tax-payer dollars be spent to provide someone free accomodation for 3 years, after they attempt insurance fraud. Jail should be reserved for those who are a danger to society and need rehabiliation. The legal system today is a joke. |

yes i think that the system shoudnt acommodate to serve private purposes and insurance fraud shoud be dealt with civil actions instead of incarceration. i dont think this kids should spent time in jail, specially when we all know that rehabilitation wont happen and they are notr a danger to society, i find more reasonable to justify their time in jail because of street racing instead of insurance fraud. as i said before its a shame when criminal law serves private interests.just a thought
