Does anyone want to comment on how stupid it is to race two 1000 HP + cars on a rainy day? The Bugatti lost traction when he punched it... Whats the point of racing on wet roads? What does this prove...?

They're both 4-wheel drive. I'd assume with that amount of power to the wheels on both cars that they'd have around the same amount of traction under those conditions. The GT-R is just the lighter car for the horsepower.
