I'm not a huge Audi fan, but this Quattro is breathtaking. And promises good performance. That is Audi remembers to include steering feel in the engineering process.
The proportions and lines are spot-on. Overall clean design, mildly fussy front.

^ while the official statement states that the car will be manual I am not so sure that when it makes it to production that this will remain the case. When a car is championing advanced technologies that always includes dual clutch transmissions, so I would expect DSG to be included. Not only that but DSG will benefit the life of the transmission because launching a car is extremely hard on drivetrains and LC has a better chance of protecting this.

I read that this thing could cost $20k MORE than an R8 if it goes to production!! Priced more in line with the RS5 this makes sense, but I would take an R8 over this every single time (and I think few would disagree)....

For something this exclusive and unique I think it's potentially priced very competitively. |

I think base price shouldnt be anything more than £65k. I know it has to be expensive because 1. its an Audi 2. its revival of the old legend 3. its lighter than M3/RS5 and puting out 400+bhp. However, I dont think it should be anything near the R8 in price. It should be closer to RS5.

One thing I am quite sure of is that the output will be over the 408ps of the concept. |

Actually, I don't care if it has a 6 speed or 7 speed dsg. I'm just glad Audi can bring their concepts into life. First it was the R8 now this? And what about the etron? It's brilliant. I applaud Audi for being able to keep their promises.
