Yeah, and no what else is there is no bodykits for the e36, in Forza 2 there were like 3 for each. WTF is that shit, I bought this game as an upgrade not a downgrade! It has it's flaws but it's good.

I have the BMW 216 WTCC's in real-life and wanted to find something similar for the 135i in-game. You can select a BBS wheel similar to what the 216's were based on but the in-game model is piss-poor. |

I should probably don my flame suit for this, but . . .
Does anyone else feel like they're just playing a full retail price expansion pack to Forza 2? A lot of the same tracks, a lot of the same cars, and it doesn't feel much different from F2. Oh, except the AI sucks, the grass is glueyer (is that a word?), it has a rewind feature stolen from GRID, and we now have that stupid 'dirty driving' indicator that is as bad as NFS Shift. Seriously, my lap time doesn't count because I'm on the racing line and brake normally for a corner when there is a car less than 10 car lengths behind me? Or because I make a clean pass, but move over in front of the passed car to get back on the racing line, and get flagged for (I guess) blocking? Most expensive 2GB flash drive, keychain, and gamer points I've ever bought, since the game doesn't feel like it was worth that much . . . Just my $0.02 - got change? Best regards, taliesen

Nice! How did you mount the wheel to the frame? My frame is about 3 years old, not sure if they've changed it, but I found the plate for the wheel too thin for the clamp to hold it well. I put a board in there to give it some thickness, but still got sick of it moving all the time. I ended up taking the base from a dead wheel apart, cleaned out the guts of the clamp mechanism, drilled some holes, and bolted that sucker to the Playseat frame.
Also, you can cable tie the pedals to the frame at that end to keep them from sliding as well . . .

Games a blast....just picked it up and the E30 M3 was my first purchase after the few stupid cars I had to get.....I was like a little kid again with that car!
Where are the famous BBS's that make the e30???? but other than that a lot of fun I might need to start saving for a real e30........ But be careful i did get in my car this morning and hit the red-line, the game makes you wanna have some real-life fun! |

This game is somewhat disappointing. I can't paint my calipers. Why would they take out that option, there was nothing wrong with it! No audible change in engine tone when I upgrade any part of the engine. I can't control the 360 view of my car in the garage, or any car in the showroom which is an annoyance. I can't launch my car properly on drag races or any race because Turn 10 thinks managing the RPMs for me is better. In car view is somewhat annoying, it isn't very detailed. The driver also never moves his hand to shift. Also, I hear a faint crackling noise, and when removing the menu music, it gets worse. This game feels rushed, I think Turn 10 should fix these problems with future updates. I also miss the honeycomb structure of the paint selection. Also, the wheel choices are TERRIBLE. BARELY anything to choose from. This seems like Forza 2 with better graphics, but a worse interface and less customization.

This pisses me off too. Especially with engine swaps. How hard would it be for the designers to take the sound from one car and apply it to another when the engine is transferred from one to the other? For the 370Z, you can put the R390 engine in it. It wouldn't have taken much to apply the sound at the same time.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But engine swaps apparently don't change exhaust note in Turn 10's world.
