LOL...go back to the Kate Upton thread... Squirrel skins still exist, but its called bit coin now... ST top coming just about now as noted earlier...out of DDD near 50.5 for nice profit...still have TWTR but watching closely now. Russell and Nasdaq charts telling the story despite what SPX and Dow doing. |

What do you guys mean by "support?" Is that just a ground value below which you're unwilling to realize any losses (short term, relative to current levels; obviously your overall realized gain/loss will depend on when you got in)?

I do. Make sure that you are ready to lose what you put in though.
I played RAX with puts last May and made 9x overnight. Played puts this week, and lost 100% overnight. For 3 years is posts losses every 1Q and this year it beats expectations, when most other tech stocks are going down.

Damn it TWTR.... At this rate it looks like a retest of the $29 lows could occur again. I'm still holding my June calls though so I'd rather it just crash and bounce sooner rather than later.

Speaking of TWTR, I bought them at 31 and some change.
I was really tempted to buy July Calls, but I have a feeling that it take more than a mo for TWTR to move. |

Avg volume is about 16.4mil shares 3mo avg. We had around 110mil shares traded on the day after lock out. We already have a data of how many shares do major insiders and IB has. $29 is possible, but if "stupid" happens, we can see 26ish. I hope we never see the 26 or even 29 this year. |

Well it had a very good recovery towards the close. After hitting -2% almost, it ended the day fairly flat. Let's see if this upward momentum will carry forward tomorrow.

My wife FINALLY just rolled over her old 401(k) into IRA this week. She has shares in Dillard's (DDS). They have that ~5 years of waiting period for $ they contributed for employees. We had this stock since 2008,and we were dying to get rid of it at 100. Now it touched 110/sr this week, and we are thinking about disposing at 112/sr.
It was one of the biggest run in terms of investment we had post of internet bubble. |
