AMD- down ~2% pre-market. Looking attractive every day.

Quite the volatile session today. A change in direction or just a dip we should probably be buying?

Just a dip. Relative to all the cash fed/treasury pumped out, past 2 years of % gain is not even an real gain. To catch that up, we got about 8 to 13mo?

Man, looks like the dip yesterday was heartily bought today. I was getting excited we were in for a correction. Oh well, I'd better not get my hopes up until we are in a full fledged bear market (whenever that may be).

How many here use Volume Price Analysis in your trading? I've read a lot on this subject and it makes a lot of sense (to me) and seems like a valuable thing to know if technical trading

Volume analysis is very crucial to technical trading. Does anybody have good links to learn more about volume based trading?

Glad that I gained most of $ I lost yesterday on a paper.

P(t,v) Cartesian
I will let people use/apply their imagination and/or math skills to apply.

I can't think of any. There are tons of materials you can use volume as a variables. You can also apply traditional math function after mathcad/mathlab for further than "typical" technical. (like this guy. http://mechonomic.blogspot.ru/)

Was anyone here able to get in on the GPRO IPO? Shares have taken off since it opened.

for serious traders, using delta and swap charts very helpful.

Anyone remember HCLP and SLCA I recommended awhile back?...chart those...still liking the DDD I picked up close to the bottom....still holding SGLB which isn't doing anything.

VJET moving again.

I am glad most on here isn't foolish enough the mention the word bear, I will let ya know when its time!...

Last time I chased the IPO after hitting the secondary market was year 2000. At that time, it was near sure thing.

I requested 100 shares but was only allocated 11. We will see how things go next week.

Does delta and swap have to do with volume analysis? I'm googling these terms and can't find anything.

Going back to ^VIX and its variants of index funds (incl 2x, etc).

When the intraday chart is diverging negatively , ^VIX would be a good trade would be a good trade. Even converging negatively, it can be okay. I've seen people who made $ on ^VIX variant index funds on a bull market.
TVIX would be better than Bear index funds during bull market for sure.
