I'm guessing that Montreal pothole is from a watermain break. Pipe breaks, soil gets waterlogged and can no longer support the road.
Happens a few times a winter in Toronto as well. It's part of the problem when you are dealing with water pipes >100 years old. |

This is why I FUCKING HATE MONTREAL because they're supposedly "into motorsport" yet they have THE WORST GOD DAMNED ROADS IN THE WORLD...sorry guys I'm just so PISSED OFF...
To make it worse, this horrid-ness was quantified when I crosTHE SECOND I PASSED the border, sed the border to vermont..what happenned? the ride suddenly changed to something I've never felt before, smoothness. Montreal never puts any damn money into their streets, because snow or not, they can still have very smooth roads, as long as they use some better quality materials and resurface once and a while. My God! And then you have those great piece of crap pipes...nice and old, where we lose like 40 (or was is 60%) of the water recirculated, because the pipes suck ass. Great! Can we lose some more please? I don't believe it's enough. Sorry about that |
