I can ramble on and on and on about what truly constitutes a good picture (and it doesn't strictly include just color quality, noise, depth, and lighting) but I won't.
But I do have to comment that Aren's first billiard pic is my favorite. BTW - superb pics, SCA - most people can never understand the power of vibrant colors

That spider is seriously a nice find (and hence a nice photo), though. You can even see its fangs. I wonder if it's possible for somebody here to determine the species and see if it's venomous.
EDIT: How did you get around to removing the spider? Used tha cat?
