It's really not as bad as it looks, believe me. It just feels so functional. I kind of like it that way. I can't really explain it.

...just wish the seats were more aggressively bolstered...

I heard if you use the R mode few times than you void your warranty.

Other than that car's a beast...

I talked to the guys at the dealer about this after reading that thread.

As long as you keep the VDC (or whatever the TC/SC system is called) on, your warranty is A-Ok. You can use the launch control, or put it in R as much as you want (not so sure bout the LC bit), just don't turn off the system.

Honestly, a GTR without TCS on is a bit of a waste. The computer is what makes it so amazing anyways, well, for the most part.

Oh, and the dealers are being a bitch about the 7 so he won't be picking it up for a few more days I guess. Whatev, I can't see it anyways until I head back down.

They're only offering like 18k for it, and he wants at least 19k, so there's been this whole mess going on, and he's probably going to be picking it up tomorrow. Thing is, I've already headed back up north, so I won't be there when he picks it up!

One of the reasons I came back home for the weekend was to get a ride in this beast! WTF! Oh well, at least I got to sit in it, prod the start button in hopes of it magically turning on (I wish), and just look around.

The dealership recieved two GTRs surprisingly; one in silver (I think super silver), and one in dark silver.

To my surprise, I was almost positive that the GTR would look better in the super silver because I was thinking the contrast would look neat (you also pay like 3k over for it, lol). However, after seeing the two in person, I'd have to say the dark silver one kicks the super silver one's ass in terms of looks. Light plays so much better on the darker paintjob, and the lack of contrast doesn't really matter. Good thing my friend's GTR is the dark silver one . I'd give the exterior a 9.5/10 in my book. Who says form following function looks bad?

The interior is a mixed bag. It's not really "cheap" feeling, it just doesn't look like something that'd be in a 70k car. I mean it's not bad by any stretch of the word. It has a very functional look and feel to it which I like. I'd give it an 8/10 overall inside.

Can't wait to go back down and get a ride, and maybe even drive it a bit!

(Sorry for the shitty images. I've got a hold-over BB Pearl. Waiting for the Bold.)
Bold is already out, what are you waiting for?

It's all there is. And it's not an auto. It's a DCT. And it'll perform better than anybody driving a 6mt. And yeah, before there's the counter to that saying 6mt is just more fun to drive, then w/e. Go drive a 6mt car.
