Shelter-in-place is making people argue about weird things.

Yeah, none of that matters.

Can you give me some more information on the car and engine? Cams? VVT? Variable lift?

If it’s a VVT motor with direct injection and a healthy sized exhaust cam, I don’t doubt a full bolt on cam, with those (what I assume to me) flow optimized header, could net 30whp.

What do other cars baseline at?

Of course! With a small amount of power, every last pony is all the more significant!

In Oklahoma for example, it's supremely hard to find stations carrying 93. I think in the whole OKC metro area, there are 3 stations?

Then again I'm sure there's people out there who love getting every last pony out of their blenders and more power to them.

Toyota tuning is similar as 80 year granny getting a boob job.

Call me crazy, but let people mod what they want to mod. A lot of places, even a used F series is substantially more expensive than a new compact car. For more people, it doesn’t make sense.

I don't personally care if someone wants to dyno or mod a corolla. They are free to do whatever they want, but at the same time I'm free to think it's weird.

I think we're all pretty weird, compared with the majority of society to whom a car is something you sit in to go somewhere and nothing more

I'm still surprised to have learned of the existence of a corolla forum. Never knew people dyno and mod corollas for performance. Even more surprised OP is part of that club lol

You must be new to the internet. Car-specific forums are a way for owners to share experiences, troubleshooting, tips, information, etc.
