Yeah I call BS on the Turbo resale mentioned above. Now, there seem sto be a LOT of Turbo models for sale but the price point is solidly higher than an S or even a GTS unless the GTS is particularly well specced .

Plenty of other examples. There is still a pretty big price difference between these and regular 911 S or 4S models from the same year, but the Turbo has most definitely fallen way way more in terms of money.

I don't disagree that they have not held their value as well from a percentage stand point, the sheer volume of them on the market suggests as much too.

I was comparing same generation cars. The 2014 I posted is a 991.1 and is definitely more than a same generation, same year S. Same would hold on a 2007 S vs turbo. There was no turbo S in 2007. |

Exactly. The thing I love about Porsche and 911s is that they as a semi-exotic can be driven HARD and you can put decent miles on and they still hold value. Cars like Ferrari’s, it is looked down upon to drive more than a couple thousand miles per year unless you’re willing to take a huge hit. As I said above, put 60k miles on a 2014 Ferrari and it will lose a heck of a lot more than a turbo or turbo S do in terms of % of the cars msrp.
