I'm used to the two bucket method. If I use a bucket with a grit trap, do I just use that one bucket? Or, two buckets with two grit traps for extra safety?

I personally use one bucket with a grit trap, and I wash the rockers and lower portions of the front and rear last, with a different mitt. Seems like even with two buckets, you might pick up grit in the first and transfer it to the other one, so if you want to be super neurotic, you could use the two bucket method with a grit trap in both! Here in the SF Bay Area, cars don't get nearly as dirty as they do in New England for example. If I lived in New England and was picking up road salt and other crap, I'd definitely use two buckets! |

Right here man...I do all my own detailing.
Been using www.AmericanDetailerGarage.com for many years. Only products I use now. I used to drive an entertainer coach for rock bands and we used this to product test. Easy products to use made by someone who cares. Check them out. Tell them I sent you. |
