The fruit factor in the hookah must account for 30% of your daily fruit and vegetable requirement.

a friend of mine used it and apparently it works...

i watched the cheezy youtube clip and it didn't seem convincing. i'll try to find some more info on it. If it does work, it'd be awesome to finally smoke in the car!!

It's worse.

Listen man, be real with yourself. Inhaling SMOKE into your lungs is just BAD, doesn't matter what it is. If you really cared about your health you wouldn't be doing hookah. See, what you're doing now is trying to justify that it's not AS BAD as smoking so you can have some fun, when it really is just as bad or worse.

Ok. So apparently this stuff does work. Studies have been done. HOWEVER, it is NOT to be considered a smoking cessation aid. Just... a smoking aid . And because it doesn't have carcinogens/tobacco, it doesn't get affected by the whole "indoor clean air" bad across the US. Smoke it anywhere you want!

$150 is a bit pricey, but I'm tempted to buy one as well. I think through smaller and weaker concentration cartridges can help someone quit. Hell, i just want to be able to smoke in my car and indoors again.

Anyone want to set up a group buy?

EDIT: Sorry for the

Yes, Hookah is worse. It's like smoking half a pack of cigarettes within 30 minutes. Not good... but my god i love hookah as well!

I don't think its worse than cigarettes but it's still bad. I've been smoking hookah since i was 15. Last time i smoked was a month ago and i can really feel the difference. It definitely effects your respiratory system in a negative way.

I'm sure its pretty bad for you, but Hookah isn't something one would do constantly like cigs. I went to a couple Hookah bars too at first and now I have about 3 or 4 hookahs lol. But i'm getting tired of it already so I'll probably just get rid of them.

Hey all you smokers out there, hit me up when you get that pipe that you stick into the hole you burned in your throat to talk, I'm sure we can have a great conversation or maybe even hit me up when you're in the hospital coughing your lungs out while your kids are crying, maybe then?

If those are bad times, you can always call me...whatever works, that is, if you can talk or let alone function from the pain. You know...whatever it is, just hit me

Agreed. At least with hookah, it becomes a social event where you do it occasionally with friends, just like alcohol. Cigarettes are constantly used (with more harmful chemicals), so in the long run, cigarettes are worse than hookah. It's all about moderation.

But technically one cigarette vs. hookah session: hookah is worse for you body.

+1. I have multiple hookahs and I smoke every day. I come from a background of smoking cigarettes for 4yrs and have recently quit about 1 year ago. Hookah never makes me short of breath like cigarettes do (even when running or riding a bike). Not to mention you do not smell like shit.

If you want to smoke one correctly you need a few things: Coconara coals, or Chronic Hookah Natural Coals, Some Al'fakher watermelon, A chimney and some time to waste.

If you guys cared about your health you wouldn't be doing hookah in the first place. Once in a while is obviously fine, just as with everything else.
