Even though Reload has been around for so long and has many fans I didn't find it great at all. Every aspect was just "meh" imo. I know there's a bunch of talk about it's performance online. I would go with the other sprays from Adam's, Griots, Gyeon.

Depends on the surface it's supposed to attach to. Subpar surface prep, subpar results.

Adams makes a great ceramic AND topper/recharge which is why I am using it now. I am using Adams due to the full line of products and its made in the US.

The best of the best applied it so can’t even say it was user error. Reload isn’t the best product out there.

I'm not talking about how it was applied, but the state of the paint that it was being applied to. Reload isn't much different than any of the other sio2 sprays, besides Carpro being one of the best companies around, so it doesn't make sense that it would look worse than any other "ceramic" spray. The only variables are the paint surface itself or environmental/conditions.

If you're looking at doing a traditional coating yourself, I'd look at Gyeon Mohs, Gyeon Pure, CarPro Cquartz UK3.0.

I use Gyeon Wet Coat often. It is good stuff as well as Gyeon Bathe+.

car was professionally corrected and coated two years ago. All I have been doing is whenever I wash the car, i use a 1:1 dilution of this as a drying aid. Easy and works great. Car still looks fantastic.

Ok this is the real gem for the lazy. I used to use Griot’s 3-in-1 and I find that WetCoat actually performs better staying clean and is more hydrophobic. It probably doesn’t last as long but it’s so easy to apply, who cares? It also doesn’t attract as much dust it seems. Using Wet Coat and foaming the car with Bathe+ in between is super easy and effective.

There are lots of good coatings, both consumer and pro, but I think Mohs Evo is one of the best. It’s not a high solids coating, so it’s not going to be 9H or whatever pointless pencil hardness many like to tout. However, it’s a fluorine modified polysilazane and should be quite omniphobic, slick, and chemically resistant. I suspect there are others (CSL+Exo?) but they don’t explicitly mention it.

I typically get 6+ months out of Wet Coat on vehicles that are primarily garage kept. I foam first with Gyeon Foam, let it dwell for 5 minutes or so and then rinse. I then foam the vehicle again, but with Bathe+ and hand wash with the two bucket method. Rinse thoroughly and then blow dry with either an Ego electric blower or Big Boi car dryer.

Yes, as is the Gyeon Q2 Wax, Infinity Wax Diablo, and a few others. It's rarer when it comes to coatings though.
