I'm an industrial automation engineer, doing mainly field service in auto manufacturing. The company I work for builds the equipment that builds cars, or components that go into cars.

I'm currently working on robotic manufacturing and test cells for tire pressure monitors and keyless entry systems (not the system used in BMWs unfortunatly). Next week I'll be installing some robots that handle parts for power steering systems, and the following week I'll be in a plant that produces airbags and interior trim.
