F90 comp is the best IMO. The G90 is very nice but it looks like an SUV

Lol you beat me to it. Came here to make a similar comment. That was the saddest slide I’ve ever seen, man. Looked like my dad’s Cutlass in the 80s 🤣 Having gotten that out of the way, I think Carbon Black looks great on the G90. Looking forward to the estate reveal next month.

Seeing them all together I am now confident in my choice to skip this m5 and hope the next one returns to an iconic design

When the G90 sells like 💩you’ll see them toss the hyrbid bs out and release a proper M5, maybe a comp and/cs version for the G’s.

Otherwise, the F90 LCIs will keep appreciating since they were the best version of the F chassis.

From a performance standpoint, the F90 is by far the best & from a looks standpoint they are all pretty sexy machines. The E39 is a timeless pure classic. Except for this G90. It's looks just as overweight as it actually sits in real life is unfortunately. Have you heard the tires begging for mercy & the read hot glowing rotors... ? To make a car this heavy perform even remotely dynamically, even the best / top M engineers in the world couldn't engineer the sheer mass out of this chassis. A boat can eventually carve corners, but it's not pretty & take a while to do so.

R.I.P. - To the awesome, dynamic, super agile M5's that we "use to" know... !

The E39 is the best for sure, then the F10 and finally the E60 - which I generally abhor but in M5 guise, is acceptable.

Don’t like any of the G generations.

Observing the parade, it seemed to me that the E60 has aged more gracefully than some other designs.

I can't believe I am here defending the E60. Although I would love to own a clean example, every time I have mentioned this to my mechanic, he tells me what a terrible financial decision it would be.
The E60 aged really really well. I still think about getting a clean E60 M5 every time I see a listing, but never did (had a great couple of years with a 530i)

Hard to compare…

First three are classics. E39

Bangle’s car looks good, but it stands out rather than fitting in.

F10 and F90 are where it’s at! F10 LCI Angel Eyes are insanely good, body is gorgeous. F90 is sleek AF, the perfect modern BMW sedan.

When all the cars come through and you see them from the front, the G90 REALLY demonstrates how fat and tall it is compared to the others. It LOOKS heavy.

The G90 grilles stand out way too much and the headlights blend into the body, especially on the dark color cars. In isolation it’s not terrible, but this lineup calls it out pretty bad.

Maybe the LCI will look better. Can’t fix the side profile though…
