Wow!! Was there few weeks ago, wish they did it while I was there.
They did it indoor because they are going to renovate the whole Welt from January 7th and re-open on February 9th.

People haven’t driven it… this car puts a smile on my face everything. My g80 didn’t, neither did my f90c. There is something wildly fun about this car that’s not explainable on draggy data and stupid 0-60, 1/4mile stat.. the pulls on this car are wild, and all this weight almost feels like it’s needed to keep this car balanced. This video validates that fun factor.

Well, not exactly. The Welt is in Munich and is open to the public as well as the BMW Museum. See www.bmw-welt.com

The Welt was built to handle this kind of stuff. I was there in 2014, and as other said it is like a musefum-showroom delivery place. Ive seen also some cars driven there but not like this. Its not really new, I recall seeing BMW 328 Mille Miglia (from 1940) being driven on similar ramp indoors in Frankfurt motor show in 2009, and that too was fine.

Yeah, on reflection it really is a special moment.
You’re so excited when it’s your time to come down the ramp and see your car for the very first time that it feels like a blur. It all goes by so fast. Doing that victory lap and then out into the world was amazing for sure.
