I don’t get the design language, horribly impractical and lame color for the platform. Strange lines and questionable build quality.

But the M5 is superb. Congrats!

Nice!

MBB is still my favorite color I’ve ever owned, simply because it looks good even when it’s filthy. Easiest damn color to keep looking good, and it practically glows when it’s clean.

I test drove one last Saturday and reached out to my buddy at park ave to pick the one I wanted. Marina bay blue with carbon package. The car as a whole is very impressive and it’s stupid fast. Not fast like my McLaren but it still puts a smile on my face. It’s far more comfortable than my old f90 but the interior quality is a huge let down compared to my 2022 Cayenne turbo coupe which to be fair the msrp on that is over 200k

I have it next to my 750s spider which is like other worldly in terms of speed and handling. I’m lucky to drive both!
Love the blue and white combo. Best colours.

Love MBB. I have it on my X5M and I will likely get the same color again when I order my G99 Touring.

it's a mixed bag. Interior of the Cayenne is very comfortable and luxurious because I took the club leather option. Nice stitching everywhere and the interior no joke looks brand new with 23k miles on it even with hauling kids and my track toys. The M5 is superior in speed, handling, and just edges out in comfort but that's about it - I'm OK with that. The V8 sound goes to the Cayenne. Even on the tech side the Cayenne was slightly superior as I had the night vision option where it saved my butt a bunch of times pre braking for deer before I even saw them. If I wanted it all I'd be in a Panamera Turbo s but that's $250k+

If you want an all around SUV thats decently fast the new GTS is a great option.

Great cars.

And I’ll echo the interior quality is a huge step back.

For your specific m5- is the vent panel under the front trim plastic? I was hoping the M got the leather treatment. It’s hard to notice that in the pics- is it leather?

I have 4500+ miles so far. Bought it in brand new in September and zero issues. My 992 GT3 was far more problematic.

Yes it's black merino extended leather. I'll take a look and report back

Convince wife it is an investment lol
Are those engine issues because they share same engine?

My car had some obnoxious oil consumption compared to others. I mean I drove it hard and have tracked it several times but a quart every 2.5k miles? Lightweight glass broke on 3 separate occasions and just recently the center lock recall which was what finally prompted me to sell it.

Spider RS would not be a bad idea probably the last of its kind and unique but 200k+ for a 10 year old interior would give me pause. I’d just buy a manual 992 touring for the same money

Oh wow thats a lot of issues
The spider rs is unique experience given the gt3 high revving engine with the top down and all the lovely noises the intake and the engine makes straight to your ears and it should appreciate in value with time
Wiĺl see by the end of the year how the prices are going

I don’t believe it will appreciate in my opinion. It should hold its value relative to it’s original msrp though. This is already the case in the used market with non spiders. Honestly, I’ve never lost money on 718 and 911s lol
