we have our own working space but the first year students are in a different building from the rest of us because there's not enough space in the studio. our program would accept more transfer students only if there's enough space. typically, there would be about 1200 to 1700 and sometimes up to 2000 applicants each year and they can only accept about 120 of them because of the space. also, our studio is far from the main campus and we wish we're more integrated into the campus, our wood/model shop is in the building next to us (not integrated). so not unless you would purposely walk around the campus or you are taking some GE classes then you'll just be in one corner of the campus. oh and there's a horse stable by our studio. but despite of all this i think everything else is great.

Your credentials should be no problem for Cal Poly Pomona, and should be competitive for Cal Poly SLO. Architecture/Environmental Design is perennially an impacted major at both schools (meaning they stop accepting people into the program after a certain number of people are accepted), so the standards for admission are always much higher than, say, for a Business major. |

Ok, so far... I am looking into both Cal Poly's and Woodbury, SCI Arch seems less appealing of the two.

I decided on Cal Poly. It's cheaper, better/bigger campus, easier to transfer to. By the way if you want to transfer to art center, you still need comeplete 8 semesters to get a degree. Which is bullshit and i wasted a year because of them

we wanted to record our instructors' funny ways of talking and make a mix out of it. just learning the program though. also found out that my class has so many musicians like myself so we'll be making a class composition soon. pass along one file and add each person's improvised tracks. architecture is more fun when mixed with music.
