I would run hackintosh OS X on PC hardware but would not pay the premium for Mac hardware.
It's great that Macs are now based on Intel hardware but they are way overpriced. Just like I wouldn't buy a Sony Vaio. You want any decent specs and you're overpaying. Not to mention getting service on Mac hardware.... motherboard goes bad, anywhere from $500 - $1000 to fix it. Motherboard on my PC goes bad... $100. Even my laptop motherboard would only be a couple hundred bucks. I like their OS just as much as I like Linux or Windows. I just don't think their hardware is worth the premium to have that Apple name on it. |
