It's a toss up. The M3 has more refined interior, badge, more rear seat space, softer driving feel, edge in looks. But the GTR has the incredible driving connection to the road and performance, not as luxury oriented but very nice cockpit, stunning looks if not as pretty.
I'd take either over any vette or porsche that doesn't cost twice as much.

I agree, bang for buck, the GT-R wins, I just like to see something thrash it to whipe the smile off those Japanese faces...
