"Who says needlepoint is boring?" with a shot of all the gauges and needles, from the driver's perspective?

much better, I would even make the needle and tread part about half the size to have some good space on either side.

I think it needs a little more contrast, the black car is too small and gets lost in the black background.

i tried my best with the saxophone idea...it isn't great but really it's just about the idea and creativity. i'm not a graphic design major...though i wish i was because i would know how ot make this look 100 times better.

I believe another example of resonance in marketing is Cingular's "Raising the Bar" for their cellular phone ads.

Theme: "Home for the Holidays" Take a white solstice convert, and place in front of a typical "christmas home" with snow like out of home alone 2 or something..... at the bottom put happy holdays from the Pontiac family - and put pontiac.com for their plug....

Hey nikki,

i like the needle tread ad.

personally, i would lose the stars in the background; gives it a sorta cheap html/geocities feel. also, i wouldnt use the white border around the speedometer pic and the wheel pic, maybe a fade around the pic instead, and position the pictures closer and make em larger.

lol or "Home for the Holidays" and put it in front of the beach with a palm tree that has christmas lights on it hahaha
that's a good idea, but not really resonance. the soulstice isn't really resonance either. the good example ksfrogman mentioned was cingular's raising the bar. when i looked up resonance, the example was men's ties arranged in a bouquet like flowers and it said "forget me knots" lol lol so cute.

No, I think it's good. It makes the play on the word soul more obvious than when it's just one word on its own.

thats hot.

nikki, maybe you could incorporate a pic of the engine for mind, and a curve of the car for body, and put them in quadrants behind the words.
