-Anything by M Night Shyamalan. I don't know how he keeps getting work.
-Any Will Ferrell movie after Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. -Cloverfield -Rocky V -- it should have never happened. -Funny People (I had higher hopes) -Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Last edited by bigslick82; 10-15-2010 at 06:35 PM.. Reason: Forgot one more |

Any Major blockbuster's future sequel/ prequel/ whateva ....
Case in point : Hangover 2 (Mark my words, just wait a few months and see for yourself) One hit is enough. Can't they just let it be? |

To me, the disappointing movies that stick in my mind are the ones I actually went to the theater to see.
Most recently, The Expendables. All those action stars and not even a decent fight scene - won't even discuss the plot. Worst movie I ever went into a theater to see, was this monstrosity (my personal WORST movie of all time): Absolutely horrid. You could torture terrorists with this flick. |

im probably in the minority but hangover was disappointing to me. its just another overhyped movie that barely had its funny parts. everyone was like "ZOMG HANGOVER SO FUNNY ROFLOMGWTFBBQ" but all i got was a few "haha"s here and there. that fat retard with the beard pisses me off. he wasnt funny at all and just looks and comes off like a complete retard/asshole to me. a funny movie to me would be old school or forgetting sarah marshall or even knocked up which all might not seem funny to you guys but i could relate to them more (maybe why i thought they were funny)
inception was another overhyped movie but i wasnt disappointed |

I love Star Wars at an unhealthy level (as you can tell by my username... and also by my license plate if only some asshats didn't take all of the possible ways to spell it out ). The first time I saw it, the film cut and I didn't even see them return to Naboo. I thought "this sucks a big one. major letdown." Then I come back the next day and have to sit through all the suckage again just to see a mediocre space battle and some animals fighting droids (I thought "Goddammit it's Endor all over again). At least the lightsaber fight made up for it, especially the couple seconds where Obi Wan is fighting Darth Maul after Qui Gon dies. I've watched Episode I once for every 100 times I've seen the others.

Too bad it's buried between a bunch of Jar-Jar crap. They should have cut Jar-Jar in half and kept Maul for 2 more movies. |

Robin Hood with Russell Crowe. Worst Robin Hood movie ever! And it was loooooooong.
In unrelated news, I saw Social Network today and it was pretty good. I had really low expectations and didn't want to see nerd guy and Justin Timberlake. But the story turned out to be interesting. |

Other that that I have to say Robin Hood (I couldn't even finish it, just walked out of the theater), Wanted (it was way too ridiculous for me), and War of the Worlds ( It just ended for what to me was a stupid reason). |

Oh and the most disappointing movie in my life is still the most recent Indiana Jones. It's the only movie I've ever walked out of. BTW, awesome user name!
