Not everyone thinks they're Rambo, and I would guess that most people would do as instructed. Most view a car is not worth losing your life over and causing an argument or struggle could only prove to be fatal. In hindsight everything is 20/20 but when a gun is pointed at you, you're stopped at a Red Light (mind you cars are whizzing past you), there are no folks nearby to help, your first inclination would be to freeze up and slowly step out of the car. The basic assumption is the guy wants your car, not you.

Sucks, RIP. I bought our last 135i at Crevier when we lived in Laguna Beach and the area surrounding Crevier is certainly not nice, but this still sucks to read about.
