At my parents for the summer, and I usually keep my "man cave" (downstairs) at 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
Relatives just came over a couple of days ago, and they're a bit elderly so they can't tolerate 68 F all that well. I've had to increase the temperature to a brutal 78 F to accommodate them It's pretty much been torture trying to sleep at night. Here in central Texas we've had about 100 F everyday and mid 70s during the night. The air conditioning downstairs is technically set at a temperature higher than the outside temperature I pretty much have to blast my fan while drenching my body in cool water throughout the night just to stay sane. Personally I keep the temperature downstairs at 68 F all year round. It's difficult for me to tolerate anything above ~72 F. What's typical for you guys? |

Ah yes, good ol' SF. I was in SJ friday and it was about 95f, I drive up on 280 and near Palo Alto and all that area it's 105f, as soon as I hit South SF, Daily City and all that BOOM! Clouds, cool breeze, and 65f degree weather! Oh the joy.

55 C = 131 F with 90%+ humidity. Pic is from a couple years back, but august is coming and we will get these temps again soon.
