But was it legal ?

And the guy who did Senna's steering column mod. , very likely with a bad weld seam ?
Don't want to know what the guy from the steering column mod. felt at the moment Senna crashed and died ..

Senna's car was being held under Italian law, as far I know they believed the steering rod broke with the impact against the wall. 8 years later it was returned to Williams who destroyed it.

The cars cockpit was a joke , it was like the drivers were sitting on top of the car and not in the car ...
The drivers head (helmet) , shoulders and arms were completely exposed !
