Point made i guess. It's become so common place to see naked chicks on the internet that it's not considered porn anymore.

But in my post, I lumped photos of naked chicks into the term porn and was specifically speaking about photos of naked chicks.

Kind of. It is more sinister than that, in my opinion. The difference is, no one is really putting porn out there as a standard of beauty, womanhood, whatever. Porn is made for guys. It is fantasy and most of the consumers know that. Commercials, magazines and ads are put forth as ideals, targets, goals. And the women/girls are the target for them. That is the difference. I don't know a single girl or woman who sees an image from porn and thinks "I should be like that". But that is what the rest of the bullshit media is - a false ideal. It is extremely destructive.

But in an over simplified statement, you are correct. For a lack of viewing modified, photoshopped, retouched photos of pretty women, almost all women become prettier. And a woman who is still covered up can still be very sexy to me. My imagination can run wild and since i haven't been googling "hot babes" all day, when i get past the clothes, i'm not disappointed.

I happened to learn this a long time ago when i got my hands on a cracked cable box which got me the "500's" for free. I had friends who would come over and just turn on the TV and go straight for the 500s. Since i had it all the time, i was better equipped to see the negative effects it was having on all the relationships we had with the opposite sex. Now, i didn't get rid of the cable box on my own, but when the company fixed their security issues, i could see everything coming back to normal and was happier for it.

Don't get me wrong, i love looking at pretty girls, but knowing they are likely not beautiful women, keeps things in perspective. Being fairly good with PS also helps me see the touch ups that have been done.

All i'm saying is keeping reasonable expectations often leads to your expectations being exceeded. Pretty simple concept.

I think you oversimplify. We always hear how girls like the ignorer and the "whatever" guy. It doesn't seem that both could be true. Maybe different people feel different ways and they are all being honest.

You apparently took my comments in the cool picture thread personally. I'm not saying i'm above anything or anyone. Trust me, i've got the capability to be the worst of the lot. I'd love to sit at my desk and look at hot chicks all day whether they be scantily clad, naked, bikini, etc.... But i know that's not healthy for me, specifically for the relationships i have with the opposite sex.

There are some people here with a somewhat fabricated internet persona. I'm not one of them. About 98% of what i type is what i'd say if we were face to face. Some may not experience any harm from it (though i'd be skeptical about that) but i know it's no good for me and rather not see it over run a thread with actually cool stuff in it. Most of which (cool stuff) you've posted.
