Wow, David, that 12800 ISO shot in your Flickr stream is incredible. That alone is enough for me to put this camera on my "must have" list.

I forgot the Canon CD which came with the camera at home so I'll install it on Saturday and see what I can do with the RAW files. |

Yeah, it is pretty amazing. I mean, it's noisy but not for such a high ISO. 6400 looks almost clean tha it's completely usable. Unbelievable. And I have all noise reduction settings off (high ISO and long exposure both off in camera) and these are completely unprocessed JPEGs straight from the SD card.

Thanks man, I'm definitely happy with that one - my favorite shot so far with the 6D. I really like your mailbox shot "14" as well, excellent DoF there.
Here's one from tonight... Had a chance to explore in Boulder a little bit and what do you know, I found some mountains Starry Night on a Mountain Road by Canon EOS 6D by ddk632, on Flickr |

^^^^That's VERY cool. Looks more like smoke from a raging fire than clouds. Outstanding image, though.

David,
One thing about living on the coast is we don't get sunrises/sunsets like that at all, maybe 6 a year. Nice color on that sky.

Yes, it's pretty cool seeing the whole sky light up over the horizon in Colorado. I am glad I found that spot, as I only had one night and one early morning between flights and meetings to get some photography in there. It's funny because the lady who sat next to me on the plane told me to find this restaurant, which was closed, but led me to the mountain road with the views so I didn't have to waste time exploring/looking for a spot in the morning before heading into meetings |
