I no longer have the E93, but for the remainder of the time that I owned it; yes, most definitely and that very moment crossed my mind every time I parked thereafter.
....and yes, extremely lucky. The story doesn't paint the picture of the ditch that the car was headed into, the fact that I stopped it inches before the tires rolled over the edge and I was behind it. The added weight of the convertible was no joke in trying to stop the car. Literally feet planted solid while it pushed me backwards, sliding my feet across the asphalt. I could seriously feel the asphalt tearing the tread on my sneakers. |

An ad came up while browsing pornhub that there were single BMW's in my area. Clicked it and now I am here with you all

To BimmerPost: I've always worked on my BMWs, starting when we used the Haynes Repair Manuals (& "Autobook"?). That lead to internet forums like "Duane's Garage", which as my BMWs got huge & modern lead me here .

It's rather impressive you were able to stop the car, don't think I'd of managed that. |

Seriously though, bought my first F30 back in 2012 and I always like to know as much as I can about the car/bike I own so here I am.
Don’t really get involved in the On Topic sections anymore, they just go round in cycles. What oil, what fuel, how do I lift the wipers, and so on so I primarily stick the OT. |

I used to hate BMWs. I had owned other vehicles, mainly Jeeps, until this car. A friend had a 2006 E90 she needed help with, and I ended up finding this forum and fixing a lot of the stuff that was wrong with it. That turned into me working on a few family members' E46s and other BMWs. Sure enough I had car guy friends with BMWs before long and ended up buying an E90 for myself 4 years ago.
Been here ever since. I still own a Jeep Wrangler, and it's interesting how similar the communities are. |
