cmon guys
cmon guys seriously whats up with comments "inside job" and "oh thats not hard to spot, cops will see them drive around with it"
cmon, we are talking about some professionals here. The only "inside job" information that they would of had would of been when the cars are arriving. I am pretty sure that wasnt hard to find out and where they are arriving. All they have to look at is previous dates ![]() They are not that dumb to make this an inside job, the damn cops will be wasting and investigating this first and by the time they are done finding nothing, the cars will probably show up somewhere with a thank you note. And of course how dumb do you think they would be to drive it around. There could be 3 possible things that i can see and probably alot more. 1. This is a media scam (which i highly doubt) to get some free press in the media like we've seen with the knight rider car () which was lame 2. "Competition" needed to look into the car and mimic certain features so they can get a headstart what bmw is up 2 3. Or which they were professional thieves, cars will stay in this country or not/doesnt matter, hold those cars until the actual ones come out, by then they will have changed vin numbers etc, and will be actual legal street car. So cmon, enough with the inside job and they will be spotted. And i must say that I applaud these people ![]() |

You would think that BMW would have activated GPS tracking before they put them on a container though, just on the off chance that someone takes their brand new toy.... pretty much a rookie mistake. This is unless they actually did this and the thieves were clever enough to disable the system after they drove off with the cars, which is entirely possible I'm sure.

One would think that BMW should also learn to put a transponder in each rare car they ship.

![]() There were some sections with closed gates, but a whole slew of them were completely open. In some cases you could actually walk around on the inside to a different section which was otherwise closed off from the main road by the aforementioned closed gate. Go figure.... ![]() |

Strange coincidence, saw a new 535xi on on the side of the parkway at exit 131 today around 3:30pm. Did not even realize these cars were on the streets yet, so what are the chances it was one of the same cars?
