you might not think that's hot, but when the wind is blowing zero miles an hour and the humidity is in the 50's, it's some of the most oppressive heat anyone can imagine.

p.s.
115 degrees in Arizona is a paradise because there's 5 or 6% humidity, max....
At least you're not practicing football outside for 3 hours, 3 days a week. This excludes our weekly games.

Don't forget that it's cooking in the winter too. We have a maximum of 10 cold days each year.

And great. The USATF picked Houston for next year's Track and Field Junior Olympics Championship. Late July in Houston, on a hot track, will be awesome for the kids.

It was in Greensboro, NC this year and wasn't too bad. Regionals were in Orlando though just a few weeks earlier. Thankfully I am somewhat use to it though. On the bright side, my daughters move up an age group so it will be less likely for them to make it to Nationals.

Nice choice by USATF! Kind of like FIFA picking Qatar for the 2022 World Cup. Qatar in July for soccer? Really?

The rain just made everything worse that day. Two of our AC units went out at work that morning and our company didn't consider it an "emergency" so they wouldn't send someone out until Sunday morning. It's like a thousand degrees outside in Houston and they don't consider that a damn emergency?
