I had a similar decision to make...well I also considered an 04 C4S, but the Pcars were $10-15k more and I also needed a rear seat. That said the C4S was the most expensive of the bunch at $60k and w/out a warranty. You cant go wrong with any Pcar.

I'm in the market for a 2-seater sports car and I picked BMW over Porsche - specifically the Z4 M Coupe over the Cayman S.

exactly..
I find a turbo cabrio is for posers...
a Porsche is a driver's car... the excess weight from the convertible defeats the purpose

that's why I wldnt get the Carrera 4/4S
I'd prefer Carrera 2/2S

u don't need the 4 wheel drive in my opinion... excess weight...

I think each company has different strenghts and weaknesses, for one, Porsches are almost always more expensive than Bimmers.... although that may change in the near future.

But I would take a Porsche over BMW, pretty much any model, as long as I didnt have to pay maintenence.

And not trying to start an argument here, but the Boxster S is a great car, and anyone that can't acknowledge that doesn't know jack sh*t.
