I loaded up on XYLG, QYLG, Good, QYLD, XYLD, NLY, MPW, and XOM. These are all high paying dividend growth stocks. My monthly goal right now is to make at least $320 a month on dividends. That's the amount I pay on utilities. The dividends will be reinvested and I'm on margin so I'm going to start working on paying that back monthly.

Also started buying VTI after reading The Simple Path to Wealth by JL Collins. Long story short, buy Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund (VTSAX) and Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund (VBTLX). Collins recommends a 75/25 split between the two funds.

Bought VXX calls because cases are going up and restrictions are coming. Long term I am bullish on the US market.

Bought a little bit bitcoin in June.
15% up in less than 2 months.
There is something about bitcoin, if we can manage the risk.

I think BTC will do well, there seems to be a good amount of positivity around it lately, and even the legislation introduced seems to be favorable on it.

boredom and desperation
went beyond my usual SPY play and bought 20 calls this morning
(had 1 leftover from before)
right before it dipped pretty hard
i think i was down about 12% off the bat
so it was a stressful 1 hour just waiting for it to pop back up
i lowered my sell price so i don't get left holding all of these
risked about $3500 to make about $265 (+$22 on the leftover)

Which stocks are good bets right now? Need to invest more instead of letting money just sit there.

I'm long NVDA, SE, TTD, CHWY, RBLX, PTON, and a lot of other tech names. Very bullish on tech but haven't bought much recently. Just trimming into strength. Waiting for pullback in tech to go heavy into cyber security - my most bullish sector with no exposure at the moment.

AMD and MVST look good

if i wasn't so balls deep in other stuff (mainly GME) i'd probably be buying those two

I have RBLX and PTON. My exposure to cybersecurity is through the BUG etf

If I had a bunch if money to put into market I would go heavy into ETFs that track SP500 SPY and Dow DJI, infrastructure bill will be tailwind for industrials. Then pick smaller positions in stocks I like. You could average in if you are concerned about a near term dip coming (very possible)

Anything, really. Stipulations are the company needs to be profitable, growing and sell something useful. Strange that some companies don't meet those criteria.

Economy is doing just fine and will do so through the end of 2022 and beyond in my view. Bumps in the road are to be expected.

I like tech, financials, and housing-related industrials.

Valuations haven't really changed in the past 12 months, the market has grown into its valuation. Put it all in now.

glad to see SOFI coming to life again
GME and PLTR with a little green

still waiting for PTON to rebound
BB is still deep in the hole

SPY passed $445 for a minute today
setting new all time highs

OOPS spoke too soon
SOFI with a huge drop in the afterhour

A bit hesitant to invest in tech right now. Seems like all the suggestions above are too high. Then again who knows how much higher it can go.

The market will peak, and then it will peak again. And again. When the peaks will occur, no one knows.

Get in now.

When the Fed raise interest rate and stop quantitative easing, there will be correction in the market.
The three biggest correction in recent history:
1. Dotcom in 2000, S&P index down 43% during 3 years.
2. Housing/properties crush in 2007. S&P index down 55% during 2 years.
3. Corvid 19, S&P index down 31%.

There will be correction for sure. Nobody knows when and by how much. Beware.

tom2021 what are you doing relative to the coming correction? What positions are you selling, and which are you buying?

I wouldn't be buying pton at the moment. The next call will be critical. If they miss on their growth estimates you should get a great buying opportunity haha. probably not what you wanted to hear. I'm super long pton but I do kind of regret not trimming my position in the 160s and 70s but whatever. My cost basis is good enough to not care.

Connected fitness is just getting started.

The more I read about RBLX the more I like! It's an expensive stock right now so just a starter position right now with decent basis - not sure if it's worth 50b at the moment but we will see. RBLX will one of the stocks I HAMMER if we get this huge correction.

I like picking my own companies. I have my 401k for the passive stuff. NET, CRWD, PANW, and ZS should be very very successful companies. Just need better entries

i opened my call spreads at the worst time and have been bleeding money
bought the dip but it kept on dipping

I guess I need to have some more money ready to buy another dip if PTON misses anything
