But Goodwood will be a "tuned" Supra with a roll cage, stripped interior and presumably non production mechanicals and cosmetics. I think the Z4 will be shown in production form long before the Supra, which will likely not be shown until moments before the apocalypse.

And does BMW have an iron block motor anymore, or does that signify a Toyota motor?

^Nope this will be a near production prototype. You can even see the dash in the teaser. You are thinking of the GR Supra concept that debut back in March. Both Guff and A70TTR have hinted at a fall debut for the Supra. Either October or November.

As Guff said, one of Tada's closest friends made a FB post about the block being iron a few days back if anyone was still on the fence. This particular individual is privy to product planning/PR and engineering efforts and generally knows this information before anyone else outside of Tada's inner circle (even myself).

Looks more like an RX-8 reboot. Why the pointy nose? Paint it purple and it's Gonzo.

The car was always going to be called Supra. In the early stages the Calty team did refer to it as 'Supra'.

The GR Supra concept also has the same nose.
