I don't like wheat as an ingredient so that's why I'm trying to learn how to do my own. If you add a little spinach or/ basil a kid will work the dough for you.

Anyway, I am to keep away from bp, but I slipped. Cooking is too close to my heart for me not to reply.

Well, not necessarily ENTIRELY wheat, but a blend. You know? I can't stand straight wheat, as far as taste goes. It truly adds a bit too much "grain" to the equation. Pun intended.


Good to know that I can bring the best out of the forum, should it be necessary. It's just cool to get an insight into hobbies; of course, cooking may be a stereotypical form of subject matter concerning questions to ask girls/women (subjective, of course), but I feel as though this has been quite productive.

Meh, today the thing is women not to cook and declaring it. I can admit to these things since though I knit, sew, and am home with the kids, nobody actually mistakes me for a fifties homemaker.

I'm obsessed with good ingredients and I love doing it. It is a hobby since I could easily hire someone to do it all for me but then I would actually have to follow the market and hell, that's pretty boring.

I have justified buying an M4 by milk temperatures. That and slaying my first borns teacher with a kind attitude ("you bitch, you think that because my mom is your bosses bosses boss, you can walk over a child? The kid is different. Get used to it, or I'll sign up for the extra helper program and I'll be in every one of your classes until you retire or die.") and compassion ("my great great great grandfathers lands were fed by your familys blood (civil war). I got over it and I'm enjoying the money they left me. Why can't you get over it?") should be enough to explain why I should stay in the kitchen....

I do wonder at times why I'm not popular...

Lol, I get a rash from tomatoes that are not grown right and I hate touching any non organic fruits from south.

We really need a bp cooking thread for those who do this daily. As in an easy recipe thread.

I cook pretty heavy shit since I have growing children who get a lot of exercise, but for myself I tend to fill the plate with more salad than food. I also ration their energy peaks with food so that I get to work in the morning and after lunch they need a nap before dinner.

Hubby is funny when he comes from the grocery store with the kids (when I'm on my road trips) :"our kids don't even realize they could be outside playing or watching tv, if zombie brain extracting or deboning a dinosaur is needed. Anna I wanted them to eat spaghetti tonight and since there was no blood or body parts in the recipe, they go hungry. Are you sure you're a fit mother?"

(normal brains cauliflower. Zombie brain= ham, bacon and spinach sauce. We never have spaghetti, we do serve the worms from a zombie bowl at times...)
