I agree. I traded the M2 for a Macan and felt that Macan was so much better in every way. Especially handling, felt M2 to be a turdomatic. Porsche there is no substitute, sports cars, that is a weapon. BMW makes such a good looking M5, it has features of the V10 M5 in the front and a retro feel. So impressed w BMW it's now back to the front again. So happy.

Cadillac did the same thing from CTS to CT5. Removed rear comfort access, rear sunshades, deleted leather in some places that used to be covered as well as some other creature comforts that escape me at the moment. It’s just the way of the industry I guess.

Yep, we are screwed in terms of inflation. 9k is almost a 8% rise in the base MSRP

Although, I was expecting a much bigger hike, given how much everything else rose.

Prices are out for the new M5 in Brazil (pre-order) and holy cow, its almost the same price as the Panamera Turbo Hybrid here (around 50k R$ cheaper which is 10k USD).

Insane price. Maybe not in the USA, but I believe in many parts of the world, the M5 will be in direct confrontation with the Panamera Turbo Hybrid.

my dealer said car will be here late janurary and early feburary, custom orders just take longer

my spec is orange seats, deep frozen gray, dual spoke rim bicolour.
carbon exterior pacakage, exuective pacakge and m driver pacakge.

i didnt get cermaic breaks cause they are a pain.
