A lot of the design can and will be fixed with the aftermarket community imho.

Given there will be some things that can’t, I’ll reserve full judgement when I see it with my own eyes.

I like it other than the line between the rear door and rear wheel well. I also don't like gloss plastic grill. They just don't age well from all the road rash.

More common in Europe. Practicality, dogs in the back, sleeper look, and amazing performance (no one expects that from wagons). There are fewer of them than sedans. This is due to RS6, AMG wagons or even Volvo back in the day.

Same thing, don't like that they cheapened out and not developed new rear doors just for M cars. Looks like an afterthought. And a classical grill would look better.

I totally understand. My love of wagons is more practical than aesthetic.

I have two kids and a big dog. I am not sure how the dog (or kids some days) would feel about riding in the trunk, so that takes sedan and coupe off the list.

I had an X5M before, but I like the height of a sedan better. Plus I see so many crossovers and SUV’s I like being in something different.

So for me, it was more process of elimination. What is big enough for the whole family, goes fast, and isn’t an SUV.

The wheels, which do have that concept car vibe, perfectly complement the overall design, making the RS6 Avant look both futuristic and refined. It’s a car that commands attention, whether parked or in motion.

They are stock wheels, too.

Audi is by far the best at automotive design in Germany now. It's not even a competition anymore.
There is not a single car in the Audi lineup that does not look great.

Someone posted photos earlier by mistake, that's how it went out.

Expect full video reveal and review on August 15th

For me it’s that I’m waiting for my X5 M50i to come off lease and then I hope to get into a wagon. Still don’t know which one, but by looks alone I’m leaning RS6.
when i got my first F90, the RS6 ADMs were through the roof, along with the F90 CS, so i passed.

it’s looking *far* better for the $ now days tho, and i may just give up my slot for this and go with the RS6 for now

Oh yeah EU goes crazy over them. I used to live in NL and visit quite frequently

You need to jump on an RS6 now. This is the final year. Next year, the A6 lineup goes full electric.

The next gen will be called the RS7 Avant. Test mule photos have been circulating and it looks really nice so far, although still in camo wrap.

Genuinely curious, have they ever developed unique doors for any M car? I don’t think so but maybe I missed it

Don't think so, but could have invested like Audi did with RS6 for much better aesthetics

Ok, here it is, it belongs on a car that is not exported out of a country that doesn't even make automobiles, also if no aftermarket manufacturers have made a remotely similar wheel, then it was a dud from the get go... so there is that

[QUOTE=Jszlaga;31384426]Damn, now that is sexy!

Nice write up by the way too. You sound like you are one of those girls from the auto show describing the car. That or Chat GTP. Either way nice wheels. I think this is the way to go.

I dabble in automotive writing. Even though on a forum such as this things I can say via the mobile app can read less than desirable.

Sometimes they need some polish so I have an editing tool.

And I am not an Audi fan by any measure but that car is unbelievable. And I want the M5 Touring to be more successful than BMW NA projects it to be.
