Everyone still pushing play everyday?
I am a week away from completing Insanity, I have to say the results are dramatic, wish I would have taken before pics now. Still trying to decide what I am going to do when I finish, p90x, or another round of Insanity.... |

I'm still doing it and I'm a week from finishing as well! I did p90x before Insanity and that is a great program as well. Post your final fit test results and I will do the same!

You know for me(and my age ) there is alot of the plyo, and fit test that causes my bad knee to flare up so I did the first fit test and didn't do another after that so I don't have that as a basis for improvement. I do have the way I look, feel, and gobs of HRM data to show that I have been on a constant rate of improvement though. Post your up, I bet the improvement is dramatic. |

Still going strong here. Tweaked my ankle on the second day of Max month doing Max plyo and had a grade 1 sprain (thank goodness). Still managed to finish the workout after wrapping my ankle in an ace. Missed 3 days and got back on it the following saturday. I started Max week 1 over this past week and will will be done with the first week today.
Only did two fit test and really don't see the point of them. I go by scale and how I feel every week. Is it me or was pure cardio in month one more of a cardio challenge than the Max cardio? i think doing P90x after Insanity is a great idea. Will help you build more mass for more fat burning muscle. You can also try a P90X/Insanity hybrid? Good Luck everyone and Dig Deeper!! He he |

How is everyone doing on this?
I took almost 2 weeks off for vacation, didn't work out, didn't watch my eating(much). Was surprised that I didn't gain any weight but it was tough to start the program again when I got back. I am just finishing the first week(again) and feel so much stronger this time around. Yesterday I got really ambitious and did most of the work out a second time with my wife in the evening. I've been hovering around 230-235 and would really like to get to 220-225 so I am going to ramp up the program and really watch my eating. |

You might not gain weight for going 2 weeks off the program, but once you get past those 2 weeks, your weight comes back at you fast. I haven't done the program in 4 weeks. That's when I finished it. I somehow gained 7 of the 20 lbs I lost back withint he past 4 days. My metabolism is starting to slow down again. |

Bumping this, seems kinda dead around here.
I just started month two of Insanity. I was in pretty good shape, a lean 169, but then I took some time off and gained about 6 pounds to 175. Decided I would start Insanity. The first month was rough I thought. I managed to GAIN 5 pounds though to 180. I took before pics and pics at the one month mark and I notice more definition in my midsection, however I still gained weight. I tend to really gain muscle when using my legs a lot like with this program. I did my recovery week and took a couple of extra days off (a weekend) before starting this Monday. MAX intervals on these days are a whole different level. I am completely wiped after the workouts, but I feel accomplished and proud. I used to run a lot and that was pretty much it. I do like to lift but I tend to put muscle on too fast and it hinders my ability to run (I'm in the military and need to be able to run 2 miles in a decent time). My cardio is insane right now though. I haven't run in a month, but being able to do these workouts is just insane in itself. I am gonna go for a unit run in the morning tomorrow even though I am sore as heck... Interested to see how easy it will be compared to these INSANE workouts! I'd like to lose some weight, so maybe this MAX month will do it for me, but so far I have actually gained some weight from insanity. Kind of crazy I think. I am eating clean too, it's the one thing that I have been sticking with even if I take a break from working out. I haven't eaten fast food in MONTHS, and I never eat anything but eggs and chicken and the occasional piece of fish (I don't care for seafood). Throw in lots of fruits and veggies and that's my diet. My biggest meal is breakfast, with the rest of the day my meals get smaller. My pants aren't getting any tighter in the waist so I can't be putting fat on! We will see!

gonna start again the beginning of the new year. Seems like a good way to start up again after being on hiatus.

I was thinking about starting Insanity. I used to work out pretty religiously throughout my 20's but have really lapsed over the past couple of years. My last dedicated routine was P90X about 2.5 years ago.
How much space do you need for this? I can pretty comfortably do the plyo routine from P90X in my living room space - would that be enough? Also, do you need anything in terms of equipment? One of the main reasons I don't want to do P90X again is that I'd rather not have to keep the weights and floor mat sitting around, etc. |

this program is nuts. If you do not like being mobile, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. I watched the first "episode-workout" haha I am just laughing at the thought of the typical American trying to do it. Its definitely not for everyone. Don;t get me wrong its great, but you need to be in decent cardiovascular shape to get a lot out of it.
No hate, its def. a solid plan. BTW you'll need a towel. |

I want to do this. I watched a few minutes of the infomercial this morning. Seen it before but now I'm training for a half marathon and have about 3 months till it. This would be great I think cuz I'd like to get fit better overall other then just cardio.
Would anyone be willing to burn it for me? I'd paypal you some coin once the DVD's are received and confirm they work. PM me whoever is willing
