Your call. If you would have bought some weekly calls this morning on the dip or even yesterday you would be rich today SLV is one to keep an eye on everyday. I have the Kitco application downloaded on my Iphone 4 so I follow it all the time. |

SLV I saw hit $47.07 thirty seconds after I sold at $46.90. I'm happy with only a $100 loss, it was $3200 this morning. That was scary but I learned a valuable lesson of volatility, and market limit orders. Damn. That was intense. I was just refreshing fidelity for half an hour straight before I sold. I'll probably buy some June CSCO calls. Good idea?

I do have a trailing stop loss order on most of my securities so that once they drop to a certain percentage, it'll trigger a sale - at market price. That can be a pretty big loss, but the trailing stop loss is there just for that, to minimize the effects of a mass sell off or market meltdown in which case you're probably better off selling at market than continuing to hold onto something that is plummeting like crazy.

I think we've already established his stock market know-how earlier in this thread..[/QUOTE]
I think ive learned a valuable lesson and didn't really get hurt in it. I mean technically I did the right thing except I made it a market order, which I'll never do again. But hey, I've made a whole lot more than I have lost. |

Dang this thread has grown since I last visited it. Venom is very lucky that he didn't sell yesterday or something when it was at super lows; but I do think he learned something, hopefully. Man, I'm still on the SIRI bandwagon and once it breaks $2 it'll go to $2.10 within two weeks. Some calls are already in progress for me and SIRI. Stronger car sales are definitely contributing to SIRI XM's growth. How are Greeks's GOOG shares doing? I'll probably go into it because it's relatively cheap now.

However, Im considering selling. I made 3K from yesterday to today with nflx so I made up for that loss. Plus, i bought appl when it was at 200 years ago and have made 1+ million with them. |

A million? Why're you driving a 335i then? I'd be Greek560-LP. |

I believe properties come first then boats, then cars my friend invested all his money with apple from the beginning. Put 2 million when it was 1 dollar a share. He has everything from property, boats, lambos lol. I joined the party too late |
