to OP, big points on those turbo F1 cars. Stunning detail, especially the teapot renault ! Oh, and that Ferrari F1 on page 4... sweet!

I mysefl collected a few of diecasts, may be 70 or so... last time i counted at least. and that was when i was 14. and I haven't collected since, althouth I was for a year or so heavily into ship/submarine models where you would paint them and all that, and it actually came out very sweet. Wish I had pics of those..

Can we endow the OP with the 'Sultan Of Brunei of Die Casts' title?

You have a very serious collection of cars. I need a curio similar to yours. I have around 125 models and growing. Those Mclarens you have are priceless models and are worth a Mint on collector and street value. Once again an awesome collection of cars.

Thanks! I've been into collecting modelcars for the last 10 years.

You should check the following thread @ the M5board (another nice BMW modelcar collection):

Here's a couple of extra pics from my collection:

And a funny sequence (based on "dream garages" pictures posted elsewhere):

And this last one was taken as a joke for a Mercedes Benz owning friend:

Was based on this picture:

I have a collection of 1:64 hotwheels and matchbox. My parents started collecting them before I was even born and have lots of them never taken out of the packaging from mid 1970's that are older than myself. I have some of the bigger scale ones, but not many. I have roughly 400-500 of the 1:64 scale though. I still occassionally pick a few up when I see some I like or that I feel are unique
