So, in other words, a justification that works for fake vents on any car.

Nope. It’s a justification for Tada San’s statement that they can be made functional

Wouldn't put it pass anyone of these YouTube guys to actually twist the story around to get a few more clicks, IMO. I recall some Tuber douche getting caught red-handed by a few motorcycle guys when he was doing burn-outs in his Lambo on a BUSY MOUNTAIN ROAD and nearly side-swiped a couple of riders. One of his burn-outs came within INCHES of hitting a motorcyclist head-on.

My personal experience with most of these "personalities" are they're all douches in real life and whatever it is that they do, getting clicks is the first and foremost priority. So believe nothing, question everything is my motto when it comes to videos like this.

They offer nothing more than entertainment IMO.

Well, then I'm curious what the difference is. Most fake vents can be cut behind the vent. It's an obvious b.s. statement by Tada San.

There isn't a difference, that is the point. It is an obvious statement that he isn't dealing with bs of others. He also said if you don't like the B58 then the owners can swap it out themselves instead of wasting him time convincing internet haters how good the B58 is.

The onslaught of the Supra vids on YouTube is hilarious. Follows the exact same pattern.
Video 1: I pick up my 2020 Supra! It's amazing!
Video 2: Catless downpipe on my Supra! It's insane!!!!
Video 3: My Supra is already getting a tune!!! Insane numberzzzz!!!!!!!

Then why are you even arguing? I told another person that you can't just "pop out" the vents without cutting, and they're just like fake vents on any other car. Now you're responding to that conversation without anything new to add, yet somehow trying to still argue.

I don’t recall where I heard it, but someone told me that he was unapologetic once he left the scene.

Still think that biker lady could have totally kicked his ass. Alas, the likes of Dan Bilzerian and the Alex Choi’s of the world are far more common in this “look at me” social media world than it used to be, that’s for sure.

I responded to your assumption that someone thinks fake vents are a good thing. I am arguing that that is a poor assumption based off what the user said.

I would have been tempted to put that video in the hands of the police.

What I cannot understand is how guys like Choi, DDE, Parker, and that guy on the East Coast with the vettes haven't already been prosecuted, licenses revoked, etc. Nearly every video they post on YT shows felony speeding, reckless endangerment, on and on. It's clear nearly 100% of the time what street they're on, the speed, etc. These assholes use public roads as their own personal racetracks on a daily basis and just skate by. Law enforcement is sleeping big time on these guys. I used to like some of these videos, but they've really gone too far with their antics.

Yep. After being injured in a motorcycle wreck at the track, I take track driving and street driving very seriously when it comes to safety.

Best not to go the DSC off thread then.

I'm not saying I won't drive quickly on curvy, deserted back road, but I'm driving 5/10ths.......not "attempting" to drive at 9/10ths or more of my skill level.

Guess you never owned an E82? BMW excels at making strong buffets. You could always just buy the Z4.
