They were parked in a blind spot where vehicles in those conditions have little response time, and then he was very rude and inconsiderate. There were vehicles actively crashing/loosing control in the present moment.
Doing the minimum in this scenerio is asinine, the conditions merit more precautions. One cone per 10 miles (as he said) sounds like a dry sunny day with plenty of visibility.

no the morons that flew off the road are morons and are trying to blame comcast for their incompetence. Its not that hard to keep your car under control in those conditions. Hell, there were lots of cars that made it without flying off the road. The ones that did were very obviously going way too fast. Every time it snows here, there are dozens of cars in the ditches because they go full retard with any little bit of snow.

That last truck rear ended one car, hit a tree, and still made it through 3 peoples yards before slowing down and stopping. That is no ones fault but the driver's.

This reminds me when I was in high school and our bus was making a turn and a car hit the bus.

The lady just out starts screaming at the bus driver, we are all watching out the windows and see a big line of red lipstick up her face. Well the police show up and she tell them how it was bus drivers fault the police are just looking at her not saying a word, you can see them both looking at her, looking at each other and looking at us as we are all laughing and making fun of this women. After she stop talking the one officer looks at her says can you explained to me how you got lipstick all over your face and would you like to change you story now. Needless to say they gave he a ticket and found her at fault for the accident.
