I'm out and about in SoCal areas too where I typically spot the newest and greatest but have seen none as well. Wonder why?

I have no idea. It's cool they were able to pull it off and provide a video journey through the process. But there are a lot of details they didn't cover in their videos. I for one am wondering what they did with the DME programming.
They were rushing through this build because they wanted the car at SEMA. I guess if anyone is going to SEMA, they can ask them directly. They did mention they were going to fine tune the parts they fabricated for the mod for an upcoming conversion kit. |

Saw a white one yesterday in Temecula CA. I like parts of it and really don't car for some of the design. I could do without any of the fake air vents on both cars

I'm pretty sure the designers played nfsu2 to get inspiration. |

Here's the answer on how much it'll cost to do the conversion:
https://www.thedrive.com/news/30821/...s-to-sema-2019 $12k total cost with you having to send your car down to their shop for the work and a $6k up front deposit. |

There was one of these at the track this weekend with me. Great looking car!

I wish one of the SEMA Supras was dialed back from 11 down to an 8. Meaning:
1) Shaving of all fake vents 2) Bridging the gap in the center of the front bumper cover 3) Shaving the integrated duck bill spoiler 4) Removing all the tacked on lower black aero work

Interview with Art from EAG on the Supra manual conversion at SEMA. We also get to see the car all buttoned up. I have to say they did a really good job. Looks factory. Art goes into some more details which weren't really covered in his build videos. Apparently, the factory programming/software already had what they needed to accommodate the manual. They just had to tweak things a bit.

It's alright, doesn't do anything for me. Front styling is not my favorite, but I kinda like the rest of it, inside it's basically a BMW (which I guess is good) and no manual would be a deal breaker. Just seemed like a Toyota styled BMW to me and I'm not a fan of anything BMW is doing right now in regards to performance sporty cars so.... |
