What else is new...BMW crowd is a fickle bunch. They never like anything new, six months later they're ordering it.

It's a test mule. More interesting is the fact that one computer controls everything instead of different ECUs controlling braking, engine, steering, etc.

This means that passing parameters from one function to another is on the order of 100-1000x faster since the parameter lives in memory and does not need multiple I/On operations.

So DSC, braking, etc can be monitored and manipulated faster than anything BMW has now.

I'm interested in the drivetrain. Not sure if I'll buy one. I have an i4 and don't see myself swapping it for a new EV in a couple of years.
It's a giant computer with a battery to irradiate your balls and organs. Forced into production by the climate hoax, C40 cities, and other related globalist fraud.

They sell devices that can tickle that spot for you. They won’t cost your more than $100 too.

Will it ever come to the USA w the new Trump tarrifs? Probably not.
I suppose America could get stuck in time like North Korea or Cuba, while the rest of the world moves on to the future. But I doubt it.

We will have EVs. But they won’t be made by US companies, because they will have failed to evolve and become uncompetitive. I suppose they could be bailed out, again, but it will be due to US policy failures.

They can keep what they have - neither the owners or their cars will last forever.

Also not concerned about how a test vehicle appears in the video.

This video is an excellent reminder that the era of practically unlimited torque vectoring envelope (limited only by mechanical constraints) has arrived.

The final product will be detuned of course to ensure that the average driver doesn't contribute to climate change by inadvertently flattening the nearby row of trees when taking a tight turn.

💯

Have friends with old BMWs, they’re a step back in time just for the steering feel. Picking up a manual BGTS4.0 for the NA before they kill it off and hope to hand it down to my daughters one day.

Honestly the front end is cool. Style wise the exterior cues are pretty dope. I like the angles - i find g82 to be too round for a coupe (Mitsubishi eclipse 90s round). Nothing wrong with sharp lines. The headlights are cool, very different. . . I don't dislike the retroish grill. The interior is straight trash though. It looks like most reviews considered idrive 9 a substantial downgrade for usability for all the reasons us angry purists are complaining about too. I don't think this new panoramic thing is going to last. Its not just bmw the feedback is pretty much across all brands. All one manufacturer has to do to win our hearts is keep buttons longer than everyone else. Mercedes hopefully taught everyone a lesson with the c63 - I'm all for hybrid powertrains especially on the mild side when they dont add 2000 pounds, and EVs definitely have a huge place in the world. The design cues of every single car's interior don't have to be exactly the same though. . . I can really get behind this new sharp lines exterior styling if I don't get forcefed another giant ipad.

Does Tesla make EVs? Is Tesla an American company?

I guess some consider Tesla American. I don’t consider its boss to be acting Americas best interest. (See, that’s an opinion).

Tesla will decline if its boss keeps up its current shenanigans. (Again, opinion). Already happening in its biggest US market (CA) - fact.

Meanwhile, the Chinese and Koreans will lead.
