GOOD POST! Thank you for this.

TO THE OP:

Good job not taking offense and getting into e-fights over this post, I commend you for that.

To those bashing his English.... he's not a native english speaker, to tell him to go spend his money on english lessons rather then a car is VERY ignorant.

People telling him to go do something with his life... he said he's an international STUDENT... I think he's at least trying to do something.

Age? My cousin got a Brand new M5 for his 17th birthday and now is getting a 335xi for his winter car for his 18th because he wants to store the M.... maybe the OP has a family that's well off and can support him.

I know a lot of 20 yr old's who get married as well no big deal.

I don't see why everyone just pounced on his thread, nowhere in his posts does it seem like he's trying to prove something or he's trying to pull some BS.

I like the C63, enjoy it! I looked at used ones and they sound great, more muscular than RS4 and M3. RS 4 is somewhat dated. Maybe a few years down the road, I am rolling in an AMG just like you.

And people thought i was trolling him in his original thread. Parent's money or not, it is an absolutely wasteful thing to do if he is doing it.

There is no way the work will be factory quality and it isn't even being done properly. I wonder if he considered a vinyl wrap.

It's a dumb idea to repaint a car. One of my favorite quotes, "like what they say in fencing, what's the point?"

I've seen international students driving Ferraris to school (community college mind you). Cars are just that much cheaper in the states than they are in some countries.

It's funny how much jealousy and ignorance there is in this thread. So what? I would love for my parents to buy me a C63 when I was in college. Maybe the parents have THAT much money.

It's all relative. He could be coming from a very wealthy background. A C63 AMG to a wealthy family could be just like an upper-middle class family buying their kid a Kia.

I assume many of the jealous/ignorant people here haven't been on 6speedonline much. There are many younger people with exotic cars. For example, there's a guy in his early 20s that owns a Lamborghini Diablo and a Carrera GT.

There's also a 23yr-old guy on youtube that posted a video where a truck was unloading his new Lamborghini Superleggera. He bought a Murcielago SV a year or so later and had a video of that too. He has/had a Bentley Continental GT, and an Audi R8. His videos are now private

So many people keep asking the same questions that have already been answered.

Many people don't like it when somebody relatively young is given expensive cars that some people actually work for. Of course announcing these kind of things is going to piss people off... especially to the people who actually work for their cars (surprise, surprise). I can't imagine how it is for the general populace who work all their lives, who can barely afford a mortgage or send their kids to school.

I agree the comments about his English are much more stupid though.

I have no idea why anybody would do this either, especially considering you can just buy a white one. Sounds like something an inexperienced kid with way too much money would do. No hate just shooting straight

I know. A kid driving a fancy car is always a surefire way to annoy people though, because fancy cars are seen as huge status symbols of success. It's kind of a middle finger to American sensibilities of hard work and the fruits of labor. People forget though, cars are just cars. It won't change your life that much if you go from a Camry to a Benz. Anybody who thinks it will hasn't been around long enough to know any better.

+1 I wouldn't consider any C class a rich man's car, even an AMG C63 that as the interior is still hideous and can be bought for under $50k.

Too many adolecents in here, enjoy your new car, do what you want with it and have fun!

A lot especially if the shop is going to do a propper stip out, nothing worse then opening the bonnet/boot and seeing a different colour than the body.

Nice choice on the C63.

Repainting is going to kill your resale value.. why didn't you just go for a vinyl wrap?

There are so many ignorant people on this forum you just have to get used to it. Everytime I see a person in their low 20s try to post a thread sharing their joy for their new car it turns into all out bashing. Usually it's an old guy in his 40s still driving an entry level BMW thats been working his ass off to buy one and now feels the need to hate on a young kid because that some how makes him feel more of a man. If you compare how people in their early 20s get treated on this forum and teamspeed or 6speed its completely different. There are kids over at teamspeed and 6speed who have r8s and ferraris and such, and they're only about 21 and yet whenever they post something about their car they get nothing but congratulatory praises and yet people on this forum feel the need to talk shit before they even know what the op is like. I think it's just cause some people are so bitter that they had less opportunity than others. I mean most likely the OPs parents own some type of business and he is going here for business school and when hes done with school here he will come home to expand the family business and just further his wealth, while the haters here will still be living in their 2000 sq ft house working day to day jobs to pay for a 325, in the end who wins?

Anyways my cousin goes to usc and apparantly most of the international students there have phantoms, ferraris, astons, and lambos along with million dollar homes, i mean if you ask me the OP is more than modest compared to those kids. Also i dont understand why everyone is trippin, if international students wanna come to america and spend ridiculous amounts of money then more power to them. In the end they are just pumping money into our economy, if there were more people like them we would not be in a recession.

Hey Op, congrats on the new ride. C63's are bad ass. Care to share pics?

And to all the users dissing him, I mean no offense and I humbly advice you all to use a better way to express your opinion to the OP. Everyone has the right to express their opinion. But we shouldn't care what his financial background as we are not the one deciding his fate. For all we know, his money might by legit

What do you mean? A vinyl wrap can be taken to a car wash and also protects the paint. Plus you can get matte colors

You and the others can rant all you want.

It isn't about what kind of cash this kid or any other has. Do a search of his other posts. He clearly has ZERO clue about cars. Any jackass can have money given to him to buy cars on his parents dime. Big deal. Nobody cares.

If you want to discuss cars, great. Just do some homework and learn what you're talking about. Making posts about random crap because your parents' money can buy you whatever you want is lame. There is far too much info available on the net to excuse being completely clueless about the cars being discussed. If he wants to talk about buying an Aventador at age 21...and has some basic knowledge about the car...then good on him and let's talk cars. Otherwise...as an enthusiast...let the criticism/flaming begin.
