Nah, the writers were like, what if we made a movie about bullets flying backwards, and that's about where they ran out of ideas. What ticked me off was cars driving backward as fast as cars driving forward on the highway, like there was no such thing as a reverse gear ratio. Also seagulls flying backwards, come on, how good a story can you tell in two hours? Movies have been crap in the last 5+ years.

You need to re-watch it, all the cars were moving forward. Or you missed the whole point of the movie.

I've been waiting for this since news first broke over a year ago.
Early reviews are nice. Regardless, the concept of "Zombies with a heirchy, emotions, etc" is intriguing.
Can't wait to watch this in the Home Theater.

Blood and gore just like SAW. Some great plot twist, But I think Chris rock should stick with comedy...his voice makes you not take him seriously but oh well, he's one of the executive producers...guess he just wanted to play the role

I saw the first scene on youtube, typical Saw traps. Hopefully this was better than the last 8? (i've lost track at how many they've been making). Was a bit disappointed they didn't use Tobin Bell for the tapes but then again,

(SPOILER ALERT)

he did die in like the third movie 15 years ago.

I wouldn't say better, but a different approach on the plot. Targets were specific so more like an independent movie.

Chris Rock? Seriously? I already know he isn't going to be a good fit for a so-called horror flick. Like you said, I can't imagine listening to him speak and taking him seriously. Lol.

The fact that his voice is heavily associated with comedy just doesn't work in a horror flick...it's like ingrained laughable voice lol
But you can see he's trying real hard for acting

Watched Midsommar last night, was just okay. Beautiful cinematography and direction, but overall a bit too slow and not as tense as Hereditary was.
